Website Design
Although web design is an unusual offering for an archaeological company (as are many of our technical capabilities), staff member Bill Grimm has had extensive website building experience, and we are proud to offer this as an additional service to our customers. Mr. Grimm has been working on websites since 1998, and we have included a screenshot of his first site (for the Boone County Historical Society, Columbia, Missouri) as the last entry in our Portfolio listed below.
In designing and building websites, we strive for a professional look and feel that is not cluttered with extraneous bells and whistles. We take advantage of established browser features and server configurations to add functionality to our sites; our designs do not rely on features that have limited support among the major browsers and platforms. We have experience with the following technologies in the Internet realm:
• PHP, HTML (for web pages) • CSS, DOM (for appearance sake) • Textpattern CMS (for web pages) • Javascript (for client-side functionality) • PHP, Perl and CGI (for server-side functionality) • GIF, JPEG, and PNG graphics production • Flash animations/audio production • E-commerce applications • PHP/MYSQL Database applications • Site search engine integration • Site calendar integration
If you feel our design principles fit well with your own, please contact us and we can set up a time to meet with you and further discuss your needs. We can then prepare a cost estimate for you to consider. Once your site is online, we can continue to do regular maintenance to your site for an additonal, hourly fee.

These are some of the sites that we have designed (in addition to the site you are viewing). We have noted under each one their current status.
